Etobicoke York District is working closely with the other districts in the City of Toronto and the Ontario Senior Games Association (OSGA) to create an exciting new mandate for its City of Toronto participants. Traditionally, participants in Etobicoke York, Scarborough/East York/Toronto and North York were able to register for events within their own district. However, recognizing the need for flexibility and inclusivity, we are now promoting all the events within the Toronto area and are allowing participants to sign up for events across any of these districts.

This means participants now have access to many more events, including those not offered in every district, which will increase their ability to qualify for the provincial games. There will be restrictions on qualifying, which will be confirmed as registration starts on April 1, 2025. 

To participate in any of the events, you must be registered with the OSGA in your home district. Registration for 2025 will start on April 1, 2025, when each person will be required to pay their OSGA annual registration fee of $15. You can register directly on the website for events in your district and, for registration for events in other City of Toronto Districts, simply contact the convener of the event. Contact details are provided on the events calendar. 

The OSGA continues to focus on promoting fun, fitness, and social engagement through its events while also offering pathways for winners to advance to the National Games. This new policy enhances opportunities for active participation and fosters greater community connections across Toronto.

You must be registered with the OSGA in order to participate in the OSGA events. Registration for 2025 will start on April 1, 2025 when each person will be required to pay their OSGA annual registration fee of $15. It is important that you register under District 17 in order to participate and qualify for our events. For registration for events in other City of Toronto Districts, simply contact the convener of the event. Contact details are provided on the events calendar. 
 
TO REGISTER: Please follow the steps below. Note there are different instructions for returning members and new members.

New Members:

Step 1 - AFTER MARCH 31ST 2025, enter the OSGA database to join and pay your annual participant fee of $15.00.  This membership fee is for the period April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.  You are able to easily manage your record, and sign up for events - CLICK HERE
Note -  You will use your credentials to login year after year to update your address, e-mail, telephone, etc., and register for events and pay your annual fees.

Step 2 - Login to the database using your username and password you set up when joining OSGA. (username is your e-mail address and password was what you input when you registered) CLICK HERE TO GO TO LOGIN

Step 3 - Now that you are logged in, click the "Calendar" tab at the top of the page.

Step 4 - Scroll down and find the event(s) you are looking for.  Click the "Register now" button and follow the steps through to confirmation to register for the event.

Returning Members:

Step 1 - You received an email in April from OSGA with instructions to renew your record.  Please use the link provided to access your file and pay your renewal fee of $15.00.  This fee is for the period April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.   Note -  You will use your credentials to login year after year to update your address, e-mail, telephone, etc., and register for events and pay your annual fees.
